replacing tab for volume

I have a 9 month old galaxy s3, the little tab to adjust the volume fell off, I won't go into detail on what my "insurance" and/or Samsung want me to do - I don't want a replacement phone - the tab fell off, can't locate it in my carpet, is there anyway that I can find, purchase, replace it myself
