Why does my calculator display very faint characters?

TI-36X Pro displays numbers and symbols that are very faint and difficult to see.

Kevin Rangel, check the contrast settings first. Display contrast

The brightness and contrast of the display can depend on room lighting, battery freshness, and viewing angle.

To adjust the contrast:

1. Press and release the "2nd" key.

2. Press "+" (to darken the screen) or "-" (to lighten the screen).

The basic problem with the 36X Pro LCD is that it has blue numbers against a green LCD background unlike a normal TI-30X IIS whose LCD has black numbers on a green LCD background.

/Huge difference in contrast!
