Just got new Sim card with new carrier. How do I replace the old Sim card on my iPad 2 that does NOT have access on the outside?

Looking at the back does your unit have a black top section? If not, yours is a WiFi only model.

If on the other hand you have a cellular model you should see a tiny slot with a hole for the SIM tool to fit to unlatch the cover to get to the SIM on the left side just below the headphone jack. If you don't you don't have a GSM model that uses a SIM (you have a CDMA model).

No, I have a wifi model. Can't I get into it?

Thanks

Sorry, the WiFi model only does not have a cellular service. So you can't put in the SIM. What I would do here is get a WiFi hot spot (WiFi to cellular modem) from your new carrier and put you SIM into it.
