Nexus 5 back cover lose after opening

I opened my nexus 5 to make a repair, but the back cover did not close very well. There are a few points where I suppose the plastic clips were damaged and there is a clear separation between the back cover and the phone. Is there some sort of glue I could use to secure the cover better, but still leave it able to be opened again in the future? Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Either choose double-sided adhesive or replace a new back cover.

Thanks. Do you have a double-sided adhesive you would recommend for use with phones? I don't think the issue is bad enough to warrant buying a new back cover. It's really only one, maybe two clips that are damaged.

Only mentioned that the adhesive used on phone called 3M adhesive like that You can pick up and stick it, but the adhesive is a little strong.

Thanks for the suggestion. I decided to give this a try.
