Case won't stay closed. Catches don't work.

Close the lid, it won't stay closed. The two black drop-down catches aren't appearing as they did.

You can separate the front bezel to have a closer look at the catches. Use this guide.

I'd suppose some dirt or grime is preventing them from coming out.
