I think i may of found out the problem. The prongs that deal with the home button isnt touching the other prongs on the speaker system. Hmm just a little pressure in areas will get it moving but soon failed Suggestions?

If anyone is still looking here is what I have found.

1. After replacing the lcd/digitalizer or rear cover ensure alignment with home button prongs is accurate.

2.Ensure both prongs are intact and are in a position to reach the motherboard gold contacts when closed.

3. Also (and my issus was) ensure connector labeled "4" is connected, this is the flex cable connection the home button to the motherboard. Best of luck
