Why is a part missing?

I sent my Motorola razr xt910 to a store of Motorola in my town and when I got back my phone he was cut and a piece was missing I don't know what piece is missing and would be glad if you help me.

Just out of curiosity, why would they have done that? What was wrong with your phone that you took it to get repaired? any chance you can take another picture of the area where the EMI shield is cut. I wonder if it is only the shield....

The phone had problem with charging so I took him there and when I got it back I charge and he did not respond at all and so I took out the battery and this is what I saw.

Okay, so to narrow it down, you will have to post another image with a close up of the area with the cut EMI shield. There are a whole bunch of components under there, mainly the Infineon 5726 SLU A1 H1118 3A126586. I posted an image of what it is supposed to look like. Check the green rectangle area.

That is very odd. There are no solder pads and no traces for any of the components. Looks like your logic board is a bit different. What country are you in? Looking at your image it appears as if there are no parts missing at all. If there were parts before, you would see the solder pads. What does your phone do right now? Does it still work?

If you can see I just opened the shiled (It was easy) and it seems that is more parts that missing
