Black screen, no backlight but iPhone still works

I dropped my iPhone and after i picked it up the screen was plain white with 100% backlight. I turned it off and on and it is now 100% absolutely black, no backlight. Though (other than screen) 3GS works perfectly fine. It recieves calls, I can make one (using voice over or blindly taping on screen) and the digitalizer works perfectly fine.

I opened it up and repluged all the connectors, but had little problem with #1. It all fitted eventually and it stil is black. Don't know what is wrong, and what to replace.

To top it all, I made a screenshot of sprinboard, and opened iPhoto on mac to see how it looks. Here's the surprising outcome

Please help

i have this same problem too. i found out that if you bend down the bottom left and top right corners at the same time, the screen will work. only when being bent though. i know that this can't be good for the phone but it is a temporary fix.

Try a hard restart to see if this clears up the screen if not I would open up and see if the lcd connector is fully seeded if it is and still no screen the you have busted the lcd an will require a new1

All right hard reset did nothing and I tried replacing whole front panel-glass-screen unit with my friend's one and to no avail. What can it be then if not lcd?
