I have a cracked screen on my 9", Digital2 tablet and I'm looking for a place that will repair it in Manhattan (New York, NY). Apparently it is rare enough that most places can't fix it. Anyone know of one?

Have you thought much about replacing the screen yourself? Most devices are easier to open than you think and the charges, much less if you do it yourself. Many of the guides on this site provide a keen outlook on the process for replacing parts and most devices are relatively close on how to take them apart. Ifixit even sells the correct tools that you can use for virtually any electronics device!

The biggest problem is not the repair, but in finding the screen. Most times, tablets such as this one, a screen is not ready available. If you do find one, and you can repair it yourself, you will save some cash. If you take it to a shop, the labor in addition to the screen cost may put the total higher than the cost of a new one. You can check aliexpress.com and see if they have it. You may be looking at month delivery time.
