Hello,
I get an iphone 5 which is fully working except I can't hear someone and nobody can her me during a call however speakers and the micrphone work great during other app (like skype or dictaphone...)
What is the problem ? => motherboard (I think it's like on some iphone 4; some pins on a chip are desolder ?)

bigboss59400, before you even think of changing any IC on your logic board, replace the dock connector first. You are further confusing the issue by changing the logic board between different cases etc. The likelihood is far great that your dock connector mic has failed than an IC on your logic board. It will require special tools and special skills to reball an IC and would be a very difficult undertaking for the average DIY'er.
Step 15 of this guide shows it surrounded in teal color. That is U21

WHy replacing the dock connector ? Since I already do that; I take an iphone 5 FULLY WORKING and put my motherboard on it and it's the same.
That's why it's seems to not be an issue from mics and speakers....
I know it's difficult but I know someone who have these skills and tools so tell me what IC I should replace or maybe you have a better idea

If no1 can here you during a call it's the microphone that's attached to the dock connector but if you can't hear them either then it could be a problem with the motherboard just like in the iPhone like you sayed.. Did this problem of the two parts happen at the same time?

But skype is working fine thats why I thibk it's a motherboard problem...
I will try to put it in a working iPhone case
Can you tell me which chip control these functions so that I will desolder it and resolde a brand new one

I no you say skype works but it works with the upper mic not the bottom one..
I wouldn't be to sure in the symmetrics of the iPhone but there is plenty of people on here that do
So since I have a good friend with an iphone 5, he was agree to dissasemble is working one to put my motherboard on it however after doing this my motherboard doesn't want to read a sim card (I set the clock but no improve)
What is the problem ?
Also waiting for info about the chip which control voices during call...

Time and date set to auto in setting and make sure time zone is correct aswel.. Then connect to wifi it will automatically set time and date for you..
Turn phone off and on you will regain service

Normally I do that but it was not working this Time so I restored it and it worked anyway.
Putting my motherboard on his complete working case is not working too... So my motherboard seems to be damage ... So what chip do I have to change ?

I also need to know where the sound ic is on iPhone 5 board , I have same issue , wondered weather heating or padding the ic will sort problem like it does on the iPhone 4 as it may have just come loose after a drop
