How to fix missing filter (?) on logic board?

I recently replaced the Power button and Volume buttons cable (parts from ifixit) on my sister's iPhone 5. After re-assembling, phone had a blank screen, but could faintly see a lighted dark screen, also you could tell the backlight was working and had no problem connecting to iTunes. Also, when charging makes "chime" sound every 5 seconds or so.

Took back apart and noticed on the logic board under the tape where the LCD connects, there appears to be one or two components missing, my guess is these are filters. Can you please verify this is in fact the problem and if so how to fix? I'm comfortable soldering, however i've never attempted something this small and probably don't have a small enough soldering iron. Also, I wouldn't know exactly what component I would need to buy. Would it be okay to somehow bridge the connections for test purposes?, if indeed that is the problem.

I think I've explained everything and i'll attach the best pictures I could get. Thanks for your help!

If you jump across C93 you will short the LCD power voltage to ground---not a good idea.

I would predict the loss of these components to possibly show no image, while you are describing no backlight---you may want to check your backlight filters for continuity as well.

Feel free to contact me for a quote if you find that soldering on this scale is not feasible for DIY. It would be very straightforward to just replace those components from a donor board with professional equipment.

Update:

Replaced the two components and image was restored.

adamwlemmons, the missing components are C93 and FL35. C93 is a 56PF 6.3V 5% capacitor in a 01005 Package. Something like this should work. FL35 is a 120OHM-210MA filter in a 01005 package as well, and this one should work for that. Both of these components are part of the LCD power circuitry. Please remember that the 01005 package has the dimensions of 0.016" L x 0.008" W (0.40mm x 0.20mm), so if you have never done any microsoldering, I would suggest that you either practice a lot on an old board, or have somebody else do it for you. Hope this helps, good luck
