Can I change my processor so I can upgrade to Snow Leopard?

I have previously tried to upgrade my mac to Snow Leopard, but I couldn't because of the processor. Is there any compatible processor for this mac that would allow the installation of Snow Leopard?

Sorry but no. Snow leopard requires an intel processor and your G5 will not take it, two very different animals.

Is it possible if I change more than one part. Or this would be much more expensive than getting a new mac?
