How do I check to see if my alternator belt, serpentine belt?

When I accelerate while driving, something under the hood squeaks, how do I go about checking this myself? which belts might it be?

Trav Williamz, most of the squeaking is not caused by a bad belt, but a bad tensioner or pulley. I would check the AC, alternator, or water pump pulley. Take a look at this video to see how to check where the squeak comes from. Be careful and keep your hands away from moving parts. Not sure how many miles you have on your Honda, but you may want to consider a new water pump as well. Of course, changing the serpentine belt will not hurt. Hope this helps, good luck.
