Hard Drive won't regonize?

I brought WD 250GB WD2500BEVE and when I boot up in Disk Utility it only sees 96GB and even so I can't partition or do anything to it... Help...

You should repartition the drive

so that one partition is < 128GB that's your boot partition.

You can clone or install an OS to that and use the other partition for backup or storage.
