Can't separate the 2 tubs?

Trying to replace the center post gasket , removed center nut ,springs & brackets , hoses ,etc. I can't lift out the inner tub ,I've lubed it ,tap it ,hit it,cursed it,pried on it,almost ready to call a repair man (as my wife keeps suggesting) any help ?
