Power cord for EMC 2104 - model A1173?

Mac works fine. Turned off power on power surge protector and iMac won't turn on. Happened before when had to unplug and move iMac to new location. Wiggled around and eventually wiggled in right spot to work again. .....we think.

If "wiggling is the solution"

Short connections are the problem either in the cord or the connector if damaged, power supply inside the iMac could also be a culpert.

Working inside the iMac is advanced DIY repair. Depending upon the problem you may have an easy (fix a connection) or complicated (replace board or power supply) repair. You must investigate further to settle on a repair.
