Can I use Nexus 5 D821 parts on D820?

I have an erratic (jumping screen) LCD on my Nexus 5 (D820) just like shown in this video in YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B8Df90LP...

I am planning to replace it however there are no available D820 parts in my area (outside USA) but official LG has D821 parts.

You should be able to. The difference in the models is the onboard hardware that works with different network types world wide. D820 being North American and D821 being everywhere else. On other devices this difference does not effect the LCD.

Sometimes like with the Galaxy S3, the frame don't work, but with a little bit of work you can transfer that over if you have problems.

Bare lcd of D821 is compatible with D820.

But their lcd screen supporting frames are different.

The lcd, digitizer and frame are glued together. It is very hard to replace only a bare Lcd unless you are professional. You'd better to replace a complete lcd with digitizer and frame, which costs just a little more.

Share with u the LG Nexus 5 D820 display assembly and repair guide.
