Battery tab ripped off, how can I remove still?

So I got the phone opened up to the last step to remove the battery. I tried pulling on the tab to remove the battery and it ripped right off. So, my question is I tried to pry along the edges and quite frankly, I'm nervous to do it around the logic board and other areas, so how much pressure do I need to remove it? Can the battery be removed without the tab? Thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi there if you get a hair dryer and heat the rear of the case right aroun where the battery is this will loosen up the adesive..

What ever you do don't pry on the logic board side this is a no no..

Ok then the back is hot pry on the volume key side just below the ribbon cable so u don't rip it. It should pop up don't put to much pressure on it as the battery will bend.
