After Screen Replacement I only get a Blue Screen, ;~|

Purchased the Front Glass and Digitizer on IfixIt

Follow the instructions very exact . I was pretty sure I got everything back together.

Small plastic filler in top left would not fit back in properly.

Connected the screen and all I got was blueish hue.

It indicted I could provide verbal commands to play music...sounded like working but no screen.

I broke the copper tape cover on camera and metal cover, not sure if that is my problem- Looked like it was providing shielding.

Can anyone provide any insight to my issue- I can take apart again- !@#$ I hope I don't have to buy this chick a another Ipod?

Help if you can i'm feeling down

i do appreciate you being around....help me get my feet back on the ground....OH Plez help me-...you know the rest

Clean the on-board connector and Re-connect the LCD screen connectors, make sure they are in the right place and connect well.

If there is a screw near by, don't twist it too tightly or will hurt the screen or cable.

And test the screen before close your ipod until it can work normally. If still can't work, i suggest you test the screen on the other ipod to ensure it's a good screen.

Good luck to you!
