Ruined Laptop, it turns on, but will not work properly, is it a shell?
I have a Acer V5 122P laptop that I got almost a year ago, it wouldn't update and I called Windows Live support and they used remote desktop support the agent simply deleted his name and deleted security and start up files.... My laptop will turn on, stop and shut down saying critical boot drive error as well as a major security loss, sending the laptop to shut down to repair itself It does so, but will work for maybe 30 minutes before becoming so laggy and then just shuts down with the same critical error messages.. a computer tech said the laptop is just a shell, is this true? If so, what can I do to get a new laptop, or get my data off it?
Is this a good question?
