Why does my phone keep restarting?

So I've just replaced the battery and all went well apart from I managed to break the soldering points on the battery contacts. It's still held in place with the screws as tightly as possible. Everything else with the phone seems to be working perfectly but every so often, without stimulus it seems, the phone screen will go fully white for a couple of seconds before restarting all together. Help!
