Can I use iPhone 5S buttons on an iPhone 5?

I have a black iPhone 5 and I would like to turn the lock and volume buttons and the ringer switch gold. If I bought the gold replacement buttons for the iPhone 5S, could I install them on my iPhone 5? To clarify, I am not talking about the home button.
