Websites blank, I can't see my typing or words on the page.

The websites are blank, i can't see my typing, for example; i can only see the facebook, or youtube logo, & the search bar, same thing on google, i did a virus scan, & it said it had no viruses. I had this laptop for 1 1/2 years, & i haven't used it since July 2013. I would really like this to be fixed, any ideas on how to fix it? & i dont really want to go to a store or anything like that to get it fixed.. But id be more them happy of someone can help me get it fixed. Thanks.
