MacBook air shut down after battery change, smc reset didn't sort the

Hi guys!

i've just change battery on my MAB mid 11 13'' model 4,2

battery is recognized and working but after a while (some time with the charge around 82% or so system shut down) or even sometime only power up if it's connected to external power (magsafe) i tried to reset smc and pram nothing solved.

what i can do? i tried to reinstall the previous battery(original) and the problem doesn't exist.

any help please? :(

Sounds like the power switching logic or the FET's them selves are having problems.

At this point are you up to servicing your own system? Have the correct tools and work area (ESD mat & strap)? Also do you know how to work on SMD devices and work with a sobering iron?

If not then I would go to an Apple Store or authorized service center and have them repair/replace the logic board.

Often this type of problem is due to static discharge around the Mag-Safe connector.

Well don't think it's a logic board... Because if I restore the original battery everything is working fine :(

If putting back the old battery works then the replacement battery is defective.

I have the exact same problem. With my old battery everything works fine. I don't know what to do know, because I cant trust any other brand to replaced it with. The orginal battery worked for 5+ years and is still running.
