Replace damaged top case with one from early/late 2011 doable?

Hello!

I have a severely dented/crushed/smashed top case. By top case I do not mean the lid/screen, but the actual body of the macbook.

So first question, is it doable? I mean, can I take all the components and the lif off of the damaged case and put them on a brand-new case? I'm familiar with opening stuff up. I already replaced thermal paste on macbooks, ps3s. I have the little tools too.

Second question. Could I use a early/late 2011 top case or it HAS to be a mid 2012 one?

THANK YOU!

There are no differences at all between them. Go ahead and use the 2011 case.

Alright man thank you for the quick reply!

Now, do you happen to know where could I get a brand-new anti-glare display for the 15", with the lid too?

The fall compromised the lid as well and I already know I can't get the lid only without the screen itself, which is a shame cause the LCD is in great shape!

I found a lid without the screen itself.

That's great Jack! But I'm not sure if I'd be capable of removing the LCD and putting it into the new lid. It seems way above my level. Do you happen to know any good guides for that kind of work?
