Changed screen not working

Hi guys, I really need youre help.

I have a macbook air 13.3 without screen no more than 6 months.

Recently bought a compatible screen and try to exchange.

I connect everything properly as the data cable, the backlight screen ... But, when I turned on the macbook, did not work. The backlight screen still off and the screen is black.

I don´t know why is this happening. Did I have to reset something, or my data cable is broken?

Coul you guys help me?

Thanks.

You are certain the "compatible" screen is comparable or compatible to the original?

Connect to an external monitor If you see no image the GPU/logic board is shot.

Who did the match, you or the vendor? Did the vendor warranty it to fit? Compare the manufacturers part number e.g. TLN133AT09 or LP133WX2 (example manufacture numbers… not saying that's what you need… I don't know what the numbers are but matching the ones on the back of the original display are key to getting a replacement that works.)
