What do I need to do to get my i-phone back?

i had it go completly dead and couldn't get it to come on so i purchased a battery and i put it in and it did come on. it charged but it would drain fast,now it has went dead and won't come back on. please help

It sounds like you got a bad battery. You may need to get another one.
