Hello,

Have you tried some of the software level fixes before replacing the speaker? Such as a reboot (holding down the home and lock button), or backing the phone up then resetting to factory defaults?

Have you tryed the volume button and it won't let you control them? If so clean the charging port with a soft brush and the phone thinks it in dock mode if the cleaning fails then replace charging port
