Why doesn't my phone make any sound?!?

My phone hasn't been making any sounds lately. No ringers, alerts, music. The in-call speaker works, but not the one near the bottom. I replaced the speaker enclosure a couple of days ago to try to fix the problem, and when that didn't fix it I gutted out my phone and put it back together while cleaning it with hopes that I would somehow fix something. Nothing. Just a big waste of time. If anyone can help me that would be AMAZING!

First thing is open up back of phone and take of emi sheild and remove the first black connector beside the lcd this is the headphone jack now put in battery again and start up phone like this. If it still doesn't work you no it havs nothing to do with the headphone jack.

I dont know what is speaker enclosure but there are 3 reasons for bottom speaker problems.

1- Replace the buzzer ( it is black plastic part with two screws. It also has GSM antenna ribbon on it)

2- replace the charging port assembly. It has charging port, microphone and speaker connectors.

3- replace the headphone jack flex cable ( yes ... Shorcut in headphone jack supresses speaker sound )

Before that you can also clean connector between charging port and speaker.

Good luck ...
