battery replacement procedure didn't match video

iphone5 battery replacement video How to replace your iPhone 5 battery procedure didn't match my phone. An aluminum plate covers battery which was not removable. Top of glass screen would not reseat in phone metal back upon reassembly. Also, my screen appears to have pixel damage, roughly a 50 x 50 pixel area that stays black. So now I have a iPhone that still requires a battery replacement and a new screen. Not a desirable outcome.

How can I get RMA for battery replacement kit refund?

I did the same and now the iPhone had a really hard time removing the old battery now iphone reboots after a few minutes of use might have damaged the small black ribbon that's glued to the back the case under the top end of the battery. Tiny nick could this be the problem .
