Need help identifying a tiny surface mount component

Hello,

Upon opening the bottom cover of my Macbook Pro I accidently broke a tiny surface mount component. Unfortunately, the arm(s?) of it are too small to solder back on and I need to buy a new one. I believe remounting this component will restore the functionality of the ports (USB, Thunder Bolt, audio jack, etc.) on my device.

I was told that it's a diode, but I'm having trouble finding anything like it online. If someone could please help me identify the component and give me a possible product #?

I attached some photographs...

Thank you in advance!

Landon

landon a, sorry, that is not a diode (bet the + sign threw you off ;-). What you are missing is reference designator C4696 which is a 220UF-35MOHM 20% 6.3V Tantalum Capacitor - Polymer SMD in a B2-sm case. Mouser.com has those as part number 667-6TPE220M This is a relative common item and you could most likely get it somewhere else. (Mouser is a bit steep on shipping cost on single items) BTW, it is part of the USB Port Power Switch, so yes it may help to get your ports back to work. Hope this helps, good luck.
