All three water sensors tripped salvageable?

Swam in freshwater lake for 30 min with iphone 5 in my pocket, immediately opened and dried. all three sensors tripped. 5 days later won't power on at all. had the same problem on previous model and got away with replacing the battery. do you think its possible to save it?

sure, totally possible. or not. some can be saved even after a year outside. some not after a few drops inside for a minute.

It is definitely worth a shot--skip the useless rice and disassemble your phone and put the logic board in 90%+ pure isopropanol. Scrub what you can see with a toothbrush, let it air dry and reassemble with new battery. Or head to your local shop---since the iPhone 5 has most of the board inaccessible under soldered on EMI shields, it might be worth the $30-40 bucks to have them run it through an ultrasonic cleaner and then you can take over the repair.

Not very likely at this point, though it is possible (likely with some high level repair, logic board might be fried). Just don't try to power it on or charge it for a while (a week), and try the phone in rice thing.
