I am trying to help my friend with her Dell laptop which no longer shows the Wireless networks within range. There are several that are in range at the condo complex but when I right click on the Wireless network icon it no longer lists those networks. It used to show those networks but must have disabled the connection. How do I enable again?

Hi,
Choose "Troubleshoot problems" (right click on the network icon).
Windows will restart your WiFi device and will try to fix other problems.
If this not help you, next step is to change software driver for your WiFi card.
Also try this: start windows in Safe mode with network.
After this if the problem is the same, may be you have hardware problem (problem with your WiFi card) and this is for service :(
