Can you give us the last 3 digits of your systems (2) serial numbers so we can correctly identify your systems.

Take out one of the memory modules out and restart your system. See if that clear the password (if it did re-install your memory). Otherwise you'll need to boot up under the installer CD/DVD that came with your system. The far right menu choice allows you to reset the password.

first, i dont have any prompt to type password, only flashing grey question mark.

Second, i have removed ram and nothing happens

A question mark implies your OS is missing or damaged or the HD is no longer working or the wrong type for your system.

Do you have the grey CD/DVD that came with your system or the retail version of OS-X?

Was the other system the same as yours (identical)?

by

yes, i have only 10.4 installed on all imacs

Start the system with the Grey Apple Install CD/DVD. Then go to the control panel and check what the startup disk setting is set to. Does the drive show up and was it set for it?

by

dirve doesnt shows up but i will try with installation disc

So the power or SATA cable is not fully connected or is bad. Do you have an external FireWire case to install your HD into? If you do you could try running your system from the FireWire port with your internal disk.
