Why is my loudspeaker not working (after replacing dock connector)?

Hi, I replaced dock connector and speaker on my iPhone 4, phone works great aside from loudspeaker not working at all . Headphone jack was cleaned and is working perfectly with headphones plugged in; any other loudspeaker sounds however (ringtone, music, system sounds) are all not working. No noise coming out whatsoever, I also tried resetting the phone.

Anyone have any experience with making the speaker work?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi.

Look here picture on step 15:

iPhone 4 Speaker Enclosure Replacement

This two pins are for the loudspeaker. Push them up carefully.

In step 12 - 3th picture you can see 4 pins on the speaker module. They must go under the LCD. Otherwise the loudspeaker module is not installed properly.

The loudspeaker is connected to the mainboard through the dock connector flex cable. (check the cable too). There are two small coils near to the loudspeaker's contacts. Check for broke.

And finally you must check your loudspeaker.

Regards.
