Ran out of battery, never turned back on.
Hi everyone.
Got a 7 months old iPad 4, and its dead as a dodo, battery ran out while using it, connected it to the charger the next day, and it never came back on, no apple logo, no charging symbol, does not respond to any reset procedure, two chargers (12 and 10 watt) was tried, and 3 cables, also tried connecting it to different computers, both mac and pc, no reaction.
And yes, its still under apples 1 year warranty, but since it was sold in Latin America, and i'm in Europe they don't want anything to do with it.
Its been left on the charger for 3 days, and no change.
Did the battery simply just pack up and died totally, or should i expect a logic board failure since the screen just stays black.
iPad was never dropped, never exposed to water, and is in pristine condition, except being a paper weight. :D
Any suggestions ?
Is this a good question?

Just to finish this up, new battery fitted, iPad is still dead.
So its the Logic Board.

Thanks for the update on this. I also have an iPad 4 and it is starting to exhibit signs of power issues. I wonder if this is a batch issue.
