iPhone not recognized by apple, not charging and wont turn on

my phone wont turn on and when plugged in wall charger it shows that red battery that is empty but it doesn't charge, left it for over an hour still didn't charge, and when plugged into a computer it doesn't get recognized and doesn't charge as well. also cant get into DFU mode. most likely its a hard ware issue, so could anyone suggest what/which part could possibly be damaged ?

Try using a new lightning wire or maybe the pins inside the phone's connector are too dirty.
