2,53 battery.. why not remove

Hey!.

I have a MacBook Pro unibody, late 09 model... and i want to reset it as much as possible.

My wift droped water in it.. and now it wont start... it been many days so it should be dry.

I want to remove the battery...

Why is there a labes that instructs me NOT to remove the battery?.

I don't know why - but i couldn't care less - especially in the case of a fluid damage (water and a battery is a bad mixture)

so let's start - the warranty is vioded anyway

here is the important part - get the logic board out of the MacBook.

you need rubbing alcohol and a soft paintbrush, clean everything carefully that look's like white/yellow/greenish or black mold - be careful - the parts are tiny - after you're done - let it dry (depends on the grade of the alcohol - i use 100% iso - better a day than to short) - DO NOT USE A HAIRDRYER!

if it's dry - reassemble it and try to start it.

Rubbing alcohol contains about 30% water. A better cleaner would be isopropl alcohol, methanol or ethanol.
