MacBook Pro 17" bootet nicht. Nur graues Display!

Beim Startversuch bleibt das Display grau. Es erscheint das Apple Logo. Nach ca 30 Sekunden hat das gesamte Display graue vertikale Streifen, das Apple Logo ist noch im Hintergrund sichtbar. Weiter geht nichts mehr!

Der Fachhändler sagt: Hauptplatine defekt!?

Es gibt keine Ersatzteile für dieses Model - Elektronic- Schrott.

Was kann ich tun. Harddisk ist ok!

Wo bekomme ich notfalls eine Hauptplatine her?

Kann dieser Fehler auch das Display- Datenkabel verursachen?

Options

Connect to an external monitor. If you see the same thing it's your GPU/VGC (and that's soldered to the logic board so your dealer is straight shooting).

You can either:

Part out the rest of the machine

Replace the logic board (which includes the GPU)

Find a source (e-bay? local computer/electronics shop) that can reflow or replace the GPU.
