You can't transfer memory only data and files. You'll have to pull the SSD from the MBA and put it in an external case as there is no target boot option for your machine, and you have said the logic board failed.

A far easier option would be to restore your backup from your MBA to the new machine.

If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.

first I would like to thank you as I have been trying to get an answer for this question from last 30 days ,I even posted on Apple discussion but so far no reply. Can u please tell me how I can do it and with help of what ? Thank you once again.

You need the tools to open your machine - you follow (study it well before you being not just look at it) the guide for replacing the HD but you're going to remove the HD and put it in an external Serial ATA standard case (which you will have to purchase). You will connect the drive via cables to the new machine and use Migration Assistant App. to transfer your data (not applications) to the new machine into your current (or a new) account.

I am looking for the same thing....if you have tried either of the suggestions above, and find that you are still stuck, consider this:

The MacBook Air has NO internal HD that might work in a standard external case. The MBA has solid state drives. The bus on the SSD card requires a PCIe-to-USB connection. I have not found one online, however, they are certainly available.

Restoring from the Backup would be the easiest thing to do...assuming that you are using a back up.

I will continue my search for the exact device and be sure that I place a link here when I find it.
