How do I replace the display card in my iMac G3?

The monitor quit showing in my 1999 iMac G3. I tested it with other working monitors & none of them worked with my G3, but did work on other computers. The G3 does power up.

It seems it uses an ATI RAGE 128 Ultra with 16MB SDRAM

Could other display cards with more SRAM work with it?

I was told it was more than likely the display card in the computer.

I just love the old applications and games i use and some are impossible to find now.

Please Help!!

Thanks a lot

If the battery goes dead on this machine, the monitor will shut off. I would replace that first. This quide will show you how to get to the 3.6 volt PRAM battery: iMac G3 Model M4984 Logic Board Replacement
