Why is my vibrator staying on after screen replacement?

I have just replaced the screen on an iPhone 4 and when I plug it in the vibrator stays on! I have replaced about 8-10 screens for friends but the only thing I have done differently this time is I damaged and had to replace the home button. Any suggestions on what I may have done wrong?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Have you tried:

Just Hold The Power/Lock Button And The Home Button At The Same Time For About 10 Seconds Until The Apple Logo Pops Up On Your iPhone's Screen

Just works as a reboot, not 100% sure it will work. If not its might be something internal that has changed.

Hi I tried that but didn't seem to help. The battery is dead flat and when I plug it in the vibrator starts operating. Almost seems I have a crossed wire or similar. Not sure how?

make sure the dock connector is seated properly. be sure to check to see if there is any debri or corrosion.

Also try cleaning the connectors that touch the vibrating motor. make sure the screws are fastened all the way down and there is no corrosion.

Other than those two things there really isn't much you could've done to create this error. is it up to date on software?
