Why is the screen white after repaiedr on/off button

Took mIne apart to fix the on/off button everything was worked perfect before but that. put it back together w/ extreme caution but the screen turns all white w/ noting on it now.

It does connect to I Tunes deletes and add song, plays from it but when I disconnect white screen only and it also does it when I plug the earphone jack aging white screen only

Options

Try shorting out the battery to the case, if you are still having problems then you will need to replace the LCD.
