L shaped contact part identification

I was replacing a charging port, front glass and front facing camera on a Verizon iPhone 4 32 gb. This part was laying on my work bench and I don't have any idea where it goes. I've looked at many video's on you tube and step by step guides to identify it but I can't find it anywhere. Please help. It is L shaped and appears to be some kind of contact part. The number 821-1294 and MFC 0511. Many thanks to anyone who takes time to help.

I can't tell what this is. When putting your phone back together, follow the guide exactly and look if you are missing anything. This doesn't look like it belongs in the verizon iPhone 4. It looks like a broken part of something.

Is your iphone malfunctioning, or does it work prefectly fine without it? It is probably just a backup ground cable, between the lcd and the frame, or the middle frame and the side frame. it goes at the headphone jack, under the right screw, with the little piece sticking to the left on top of the headphone jack. I have been trying to identify this little bastard and find a new one for days. Someone gave me an old iphone and this guy was torn in half.
