1.33Ghz A1010 PVRAM battery died, is 1.5Ghz logicboard same dimension?

Are the 1.33Ghz and 1.5Ghz logic board dimensions and connections configuration the same?

Has anyone made an A1104 1.5Ghz logic board work in an A1010 model?

Has anyone, themselves, professional technicians included, failed or successfully "upgraded" when replacing a logic board?

Despite specifications, does it work?

I would maybe have it done professionally if so, not try this for a first project for myself: it seems like a bigger deal than upgrading to a larger RAM chip!

I will work on two assumptions (and you know where that gets you).

1. You want to place the A1104 board in the A1010 unit.

2. You already have the A1104 board.

If I am correct in that from what I can tell except for the processor the two units are the same. What you need to do is open up the A1010 and compare the connections to make SURE they are the same and in the same place. If it all checks out and you feel froggy--jump but understand I have never made this switch and cannot guarantee good results. If you decide to do this I wish you good luck and be sure to tell us how it came out. Ralph

Pretty sure that's the two logic boards can be swapped without modifications.
