I have a S4 Active and am not finding much information on ifixit for the device. I broke the glass on my phone and would like to replace it. The LCD still works. Does anyone know if the S4 glass is the same as the S4 Active? Can i buy the kit for the S4 and will it work on the S4 active?

I had the same problem and the shape of the standard S4 glass is different from the S4 Active because of the buttons. I've also read that the glass is different and that the glass can't really be replaced without the digitizer. I'm still learning as I go. I haven't found a glass-only kit. Only Glass + Digitizer

how about lcd and digitizer are s4 and s4 active the same lcd and digitizer? I know front glass is different.

Hi NO Difinitely different. Not only that but you also have a back light on the s4 active like an iphone. So if you spray alcohol or glue remover onto screen without removing backlight you are going to damage it. Just desolder the backlight first...remove glue and replace the new screen

unfortunatly the s4 and s4 active arent the same.. you can only buy the lcd + digitizer assembly as one whole peice. which is a good thing really cause this means that the front of the phone is sealed and water tight, i think theyre about 90 pound to buy. which isnt that bad to be fair
