Bottom plate, is it supposed to be 100% flush?

The bottom plate on my MacBook Pro fits allright, but it's not perfectly flush to the unibody all around the edge. By "not perfectly", I mean it differs by tenths of a millimeter, not anything that affects function. You can feel the edge though.
