Broken External Power Port, Dang It!

Power cable was jammed in after computer fell to floor. The stem inside port is loose and will nolonger receive power. Is this a repairable item or should I look for a good used one and transfer my hard drive? I forgot to mention, the battery is no good, so outside power is needed to run this computer.

Eldon, the DC jack is soldered to the motherboard. Follow this guide to remove the motherboard. Unsolder the old jack and replace it with a new one. The jack is available at places like this and many others. Hope this helps, good luck
