How do you replace the home button?
How do you remove the home button and place it on a new mid bezel? I have a 3rd gen iPod touch with 32gb

The new mid bezel should have the "pins" fpr the metal plate that holds the home button.
cut the melted plastics on from the old metal plate and reuse the plate for the new bezel - melt the plastic pins on the new one after you placed the home button.

Thanks, since the new bezel mid section also had a metal plate, I heated up the section and it seemed to keep most of the plastic pin that allowed me to put on the okd home button.
