Light banding on screen after battery replacement

I recently replaced the battery in an iPhone 4S, swapping out the stock battery for a "High Capacity" (2680 mAh) one. After rebooting the device, I noticed horizontal banding on the screen, most notably behind white text/images on a dark background. I'm thinking that I may have damaged a ribbon cable somewhere, but I don't see any noticeable defects. Has anyone else ran into this issue or maybe point me in the direction of a fix? I've attached a picture of the screen showing the issue and a mockup in case it's hard to discern from the actual picture.

EDIT: These two previous questions (streaks / ghosting / lines on iPhone 4S screen and Horizontal lines on LCD u) seem to suggest it's a faulty LCD, though it was definitely working fine before replacement.

Answer this question I have this problem too

it seems like the flex cable for the lcd is not plugged into the logic board all the way....try unplugging the cables....cleaning the ports with alcohol...and re connecting the cables to see if that is the issue
